By default, Subhash Browser does not remember history, cookies and form field data including password values. Of course, the app appears less useful to new users. But this is an  extremely privacy-focused browser. In the Settings screen, the user can make the app remember this browsing data. What if, after that, user wants to suddenly clear the browsing data, such as when giving the device to somebody else to use? That is why there is the Erase button. It provides an easy one-shot “clear browser history” functionality. This is particularly useful for web designers when they repeatedly update  stylesheets, javascript and image files and need to test those changes in a mobile browser.  As the browser uses a cache, the Erase button and the Refresh button will be very useful in testing updated files. The Erase button clears everything but it does not delete bookmarks or downloaded files including images and podcasts.
