TweetsToRSS Server adds geolocation support

RSS feeds generated by TweetsToRSS Server will now include geolocation URLs if the original Tweet has that information. Most tweets don’t have this information (which is a good thing) but wherever available, TweetsToRSS Server will provide it as a link. This link will open in a mapping application such as Google Maps. I have updated Subhash Browser and its Tamil and Malayalam versions with support for this URI.

TweetsToRSS Server for Desktop (the Java SE) version has also been updated. It directly links to a Bing Maps URL. If you prefer to use Google Maps, just select the text and do a search.

If you want to test this feature, do a search for #photos, as many cameras add GPS info to images or maybe it is Twitter that is adding it. I am not sure. Somehow the info is there. BTW, #photos search has a lot of porn, in fact 90% of it is porn. Don’t do the search in the midst of others. It is NSFW. However, it seems to be the only one that is guaranteed to provide such Tweets.
