Mysterious ClassCastException in Android? findViewById() returns wrong TextView, ListView, ImageView some other view?

You have been doing a lot of cutting, pasting and editing in an Android app layout that Eclipse can’t keep track of your changes and now R.java is corrupt. Choose Project Clean or just delete R.java. The file will be rebuilt without issue when you rebuild later. I wasted 6 hours yesterday because of this.
